Couple Pictures from My Prowler RT Conversion

I got a couple pictures sent to me from the shop that is doing my Gold Wing conversion to a Prowler RT. The mechanic is taking the bike for a test ride to check things before mounting the body panels. I will pick the trike up next week when the weather clears enough for me to get to the shop which is about 300 miles away. No closer shops to my home were set up to do the conversion.

The conversion is being done by Freedom Rides in Lincoln, CA (just outside Sacramento). There are four Motor Trike dealers in California. Two of them have not done hardly any trike work. One of them sends the bike back to the factory. Only Freedom Rides and SoCal Trike Center do the work in house. They are both about the same distance from my home, but you have to go through the LA traffic mess to get to San Marcos, the place for SoCal Trike Center. It is easier for me to go to Sacramento.

Goldwing Fan -

It is my understanding that they handle better than a conventional trike. That is because you have two car tires leading you into a curve compared to a single motorcycle tire on a conventional trike. I have test ridden a Can-Am Spyder and I liked the ride better than the conventional trikes that I tested. I wanted to keep my Goldwing instead of buying a Spyder.

There is an explanation of the benefits of the reverse trike at this web site: https://endeavortrikes.com/why-reverse/
