saddlebag keepers

WTB - A set of saddlebag keepers for my 05' 1800. They were made by a company called ChrisCo Accessories Inc in Greer SC but that company closed the doors and went out of business. So these keepers are no longer being produced. I think the product was fairly popular so I figure they're out there. If you know of anybody that has a set they want to sell, please send me a PM or reply to this posting. Actually what I need is the keeper for the right saddlebag. I have the one for the left side, which I'm using but if I can find a complete set or just the right side, that would be great! Thanks for your help! JB

It's Both Our Lucky Day!

JB, I've got a new set never been in the bike. It's my intention to eventually use one of them on either side and use a Hondaline bag liner in the other. Where in the Republic are you? I'm in Grayson County. Let me know what you want to pay for the right side plus shipping and let's see if we can strike a deal.

OMG, I didn't even think of posting a request for a set of these. I have been wanting a set forever , but when I decided to order a set, as Txwingman said, they are out of business.
Oh well maybe lightning will strike twice. If any one here has a set they'd like to sell I would be very interested. Just PM me. Oh I almost forgot, as I remember they made a set for '01 to '10
and a different set for 2nd Gen. 2012 + and I need a 2nd Gen. set.
Thanks.

What do they look like? Can you post a pic?

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger

Here's the left side, only one I have now. It just fits in the bottom of the saddlebag giving you a higher lip to keep things from falling out when the lid is opened.

I'm confused in how they work. Maybe once you have them installed, you can post a video.

Mine won't get installed for a while. Maybe TXWINGMAN can snap a pic of one installed for you if he sees this.

Sorry Heavenboundx4, I don't have the technology available to post pictures online because I still live in the dark ages. But maybe I can describe how they work. There's no drilling involved, they were cleverly designed to fit perfectly into the bottom of an empty saddlebag. Then you simply load whatever you'd usually carry into the saddlebag to keep them in place. They're made out of black fiberglass (see Johnny S's pics above) and stand approx. 4 1/2" tall from the bottom lip of the saddlebag to keep the contents from rolling out when you open either saddlebag. Personally, I thought they were a very useful product and was sorry to see ChrisCo (manufacturer) go out of business. But Thanks to Johnny S, I have a complete set now. I'll keep my eyes and ears open and will let you know if I come across another set.
