Kevlar pads

I bought a set of Kevlar pads for the front a couple of years ago to try out on my GL1800A. I only put the left side on because the right still looked good. In the mean time a friend needed a set of pads for the front of his bike so I installed the remaining set on his bike. He replaced them with a set of sintered pads from Auto Zone that I installed on the RF of my bike when I needed them. I am getting ready for a trip to Rockies Gold in a couple of weeks so I check my brakes and found I needed new pads on both sides. The Kevlar had been on the bike a little over 60k and the sintered pads a little less than 24k. The sintered pads were more worn than the Kevlar. I could have got more miles out of the Kevlar but since I'm changing one I just did them both. I was a little bit concerned about the Kevlar pads not lasting but that concern has been relieved now. At $15 a set of six pads shipped. You can't beat them. JMHO

I agree .thats what i put on mine. Was told that they wear out rotors faster and are dirty. So far on my trip pulling camper loaded no issues on braking .

I just put a set of EBC on the Wing as well as my Ultra, every time a guy puts something on his bike theres some other guy who says " watch it!! the sky's falling!!!you'll spin out, crash & burn!!!
the EBC's are copper metalic & work fine, 3 prs for my ultra $82 as opposed to about $200 for harley pads..you do the math..
