It is all of the firmware except 4.8 which I have but have not uploaded it. Please be aware that this is firmware for 06-08 US version CF card only Navi's.

I don't know what I did wrong if anything. I have two other gps's besides my 2010 navi, a nuvi 255W and nuvi 65 life time maps. I upgraded them both through Garmin Express and downloaded to my computer. The problem is I didn't get a map image file? Got the other stuff, no img. Has this happened to anyone else? Does basecamp have something to do with it? I got the 2017.20 map image when I did that a little bit ago. Kind of puzzled why it didn't go the same. Anyway my work around is my nuvi 255W uses a SD card so I took the map image file off of it and unlocked, but didn't work right off. I had to change the name of the file to gmapprom, and now it work. Interesting... Any thoughts? Thanks

I'm speaking only with the knowledge of 2006-2008 experience. When I download a map update on my Nuvi 2455LM AND computer, I then open BaseCamp and make my smaller map from the newly downloaded map (so it's less than 2gb and will fit on my card). In other words I've never looked for the actual .img file, but I access it through BaseCamp. Sorry, about all I've got for you. Good luck.

However, I do have a link if anyone needs, for the BRAND NEW 2017.30 - ALL OF NORTH AMERICA MAPS if you need it - BUT YOU MUST HAVE A CARD CAPABLE OF HANDLING 2.7GB's + as the .img file is that large in size plus the few other intangible files that are necessary
Terryhitt, I'd sure like that link. Just got a 2007 GL1800 with navi which still has the original maps. I do have an extra 4.0 Gig CF card and the file for the latest firmware. Thanks. Jim
