I removed my FOBO while I couldn't Ride for several months. Now, even with new batteries, can't get it to recognize the sending units when I reinstalled. Will have to check for others that use the FOBO Bike TPM's. Maybe someone will see what I'm doing wrong.

Not too much I can offer as far as reinstalling, but is Bluetooth on your phone turned on? Kind of along the lines of checking the kill switch if your bike won't start.

Try the initiation process again, where you screw on the sensor and tap it with your phone.

You might need to erase data on your phone, or uninstall and reinstall the app. The start from scratch again.

I bet there are some FAQs on the FOBO site.

As I recall, the sending units have to be "released" before they can be registered again.

I think that only applies when trying to initiate them with a different account (I did this when I sold my PC800 to a new owner). But I could be wrong.

Question Tyre pressure for GL1800

Hi Buckskin, The optimal pressure on the front tyre on the GL1800 is 36 not 41 correct? and the rear is 41 or am I mistaken?

^ "optimal" is debatable. That sounds like the standard OEM spec for the stock tires. There's a sticker inside the trunk lid with the spec.

A friend had difficulty with his FOBO after installing new batteries. He wondered if the "new" batteries were ok. After he bought more new batteries, problem was solved.

Two weeks ago I left on a mc trip. (still not home)
Before I left I tried them one more time. Three out of the five worked so now I have them on the trailer and front tire. Of course where I need it is on the rear of the bike. Didn't dare switch them, when I do, they quit workin'.
The batteries are new and check fine...several times I might add.
