Hello from Alabama

Hi, y'all. I don't have a Wing yet, but I can't stop looking at them. Planning to get one later this year, if all goes well. Been riding for 17 years. Started with the MSF BRC course up in Virginia in 2000. For street bikes, I've had a Shadow 600, Shadow 1100, Nighthawk 750, VTX1800, Super Tenere, NC700, ST1300, and my current bike, a Versys 1000. I've also owned numerous dual sports, including DR350, WR250, DRZ400, XR400, and my current KLR650.

I love travelling by motorcycle, especially up to Tennessee and North Carolina, and also camping off the bike. I completed my first SS1000 in Nov. 2015, and led a group of friends down to Key West last year. I'm coming to realize that I really NEED a Goldwing for the type of riding that I like to do. Also, I'm sure that the wife would appreciate the added comfort as well.

Anyway, thanks for having me. I'll mostly be lurking and learning until I get a Wing of my own.

I may not have a "CLUE" about the real world..But I can spot a back stabbing "Lap Top" sissy "Dummy" when I see one.

I'm in Cullman.

Fun fact: I took that GW wheelie photo in your avatar. It was at the Top Gun Gymkhana in Montevallo in March 2013. I could tell right away because I was using a brand new camera and I had the white balance settings all wrong. That's why the photo has a blue tint to it. Here is the full size photo:

Welcome to the group. I've been through Cullman a few times on my way home. Your gonna like the GW when you get it. I've owned them for years and would never think of another bike for comfort and service. My wife doesn't get to ride with me often but I don't think she would ride at all if I had anything else.

BTW, my wife is a photographer and she pointed out right away that your white balance is off! You can't always get it perfect on those drive by shootings.

Welcome from Greer SC

Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
