New Gold Wing owner in North Texas

Hello everyone. Mike from Texas checking in. Have been riding for years, but just made the change to the 'Wing. It's amazing to see what I've been missing out on!

Took her up to Arkansas this weekend and rode several of the scenic routes throughout the state. in the summer I typically take off on my bike and roam around exploring the states. Working from home in IT means that anyplace with Internet (or decent enough cell service to allow tethering) can be my office. Now to decide if I'm going to the left or right coast this year

I know that feeling! I bought a '15 in the dead of winter, with only 1395 km on the clock. Yesterday, I rode it for the first time. Impressive! It's replacing a Victory Vision, and is certainly more refined. When I had the VV, I used to say that I wouldn't want it to be my only bike. Same thing applies to the Wing. Hopefully, there'll be a '16 VFR1200Xdct in the stable later this week. Here in the great white north, it's "weather permitting".

Lost time is never found again - let's ride!

What part of Texas are you from? Took mine to south carolina about 4 months after getting it....can't tell you how much better it is than a car trip. You'll have a blast which ever way you go.

Live in Dallas.

Last summer I took my Roadstar over to NOLA then up to Chicago and back down through Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma. It was a good trip, but some of the long mile days in the saddle on that Yamaha were brutal.
