First view on Michelin Primacy P3

Mounted a Michelin Primacy P3 . Made a 5 miles run 30 lbs of air. Pleased with the tire. A couple days later left on a trip . Rode 200 miles wind to my back . Stilled pleased with the tire . Next morning rode West to Big Springs Tx. (100 miles) A hard North wind with some gusts every so often hitting me in the side. On I-20 With some groves in road and wind made me think I might be having a flat . The bike seem to act squirely every once in a while. Check tire at Big Springs It was ok. Met some other people and we headed South east to Junction Tx. Wind was not as bad , but still had some grove roads Bike still was acting a little squirely to me. Rode for 200 miles. Then from Junction to KervilleTx. 45 miles east on I-10 with Some hard winds out of the north .Findly got to Kerville Tx. I was beginning to think I had made a bad choice in getting this tire. Talked to other riders and they were also have a problem with the wind and road.
The next morning rode to Llando ,Luckenback, Fredrickburg and back to Kerrville . It was a nice day and pleased with tire . The Next day was the test The Twisted Sisters . I belive the tire preform great for my style of riding( semi-aggressive)The next day was back home to Canadian Tx. Now am I pleased with the tire YES. I belive my main problem was the wind and not getting to ride much this winter. I guess you could say my being out of shape for riding in the wind was my main problem making me think it was the tire . I forgot to mention this is my 3rd CT 1 st was conti pro contact 2nd was Kuhmo ecsta and running a BT45 on the front
just my 2 cents

Adding the fact of the heavy winds, you are also going thru an adjustment period (actually a couple of them). You aren't used to riding. I go thru that every winter. I feel greener than grass trying to carve our mountain roads. Second, you are also getting to know your new found friend, that BMT you just put on. At the end of this riding season, you won't even remember this conversation.

Test rode the Michelin Alpin today about 125 mi in 20-35 mph winds, the tire performed flawlessly
85 mph on rt 80 w/ the wind gust, no wobble or squermin, I definetly made the right choice.
runnin 30 psi, w/ a Stone up front @ 41 psi..
I w/ never run a rear MC tire again, my rear Stone has 4800 mi on it ran it @ 41 psi & it's almost down to the wear bars
what is it w/ MC tires?? they wear out so fast it's incredable!!!

I checked on this tire but nowhere can I find that it is a run flat series. Also I am wondering why the winter tire is the perdominate choice. Why is the winter tire a better choice than the Primacy HP ZP summer touring, it is a run flat and it says so.
