I use the BT45. Also have tried the Stone 701. Never heard of this tire. Who makes it?

May Jesus Christ bless us all.

The G851 is a softer tire and cheaper than the Bridgestone Ecedra G709. It sticks better, but about 1/3 less tread mileage than the G709. They both have the same load/speed rating.

G851 130/70ZR18M/C front tire ; There are two versions the one I purchased is suppose to get higher mileage and is speed rated to 168mph.
Guess I will find out how it holds up.

Tread is supposed to be only 1/32" deeper than the G709.. 5/32" vs 6/32" but looks a lot meatier.

Lean angle looks sharper or is it the pic?

Nice looking tire and price is great at americanmototire. Only have 7700miles on my G709 and a little to go to the wear line but i don't really trust its grip anymore. Time to do something before summer.

I really liked the deep tread on the BT45 when it was on my 88.. 15k on it and half worn. I was afraid it was going to start dry rotting soon since the manufacture date was already a year old before i even put it on. Didn't put as many miles on the last couple of years i had the 88. Not enough trips and hope to get more riding on the '12 because i am retired now.

People complaining of the buzzing on the BT45 has got me worried. Not sure why it would act differently on an 1800. That is why i am also thinking of trying this model of G851

Lean angle? I hadn't thought about that. I use about all the lean angle available on the G709 (no chicken strips) so, I hope this has comparable amount of lean angle or that will be a deal breaker for me. I am hope this tire will last 3500 miles.
