A DOUBLE YUP TO the rag stuffing.

Also, I super glued that rubber grommet to the hole in the housing to keep it in place during disassembly.

Haven't read through the whole thread. I've changed out my windshield a couple times since I purchased my 02 last fall.
There's a couple good You tube videos out there that are very through & easy to follow.
