How to recognize Traxxion

I have an ST1300 but thinking about a used Wing. How would I visually recognize if a Wing has Traxxion or Progressive suspension

Is it obvious?

I doubt you can tell from outward appearances. My forks have the Traxxion Ak-20 cartridges and springs but if I didn't have the Traxxion stickers on the forks you would not know it.

Good question!

You can tell if our shock is on the back from looking at the clevis that is hanging down and connected to the linkage. Ours is anodized black.

Our forks have proprietary caps. If there is any kind of adjuster on the fork caps, it has our kit in it. It is possible that our kit is in older bikes with the stock caps, but we'd have to open it to see.

If you are familiar with riding a stock Goldwing, a simple test ride will tell you if our cartridges are in the bike!

Finally, our triple clamps are a clue. We are the only company that makes a complete set of clamps. Past that, you could send us some photos of the clamps and we can tell you if they are ours.

Also, our fork brace is very distinctive. You can find photos on
