Highway 123 West of 7

Guys,

Has anyone ridden hwy 123 west of hwy 7 recently?
I had ridden from Haggarsville to hwy 7 back during the Summer and there was
an area about 2 to 3 miles of loose gravel where they were working on the road.
Does anyone know if that area has been re-surfaced?

thanks,
Hwilks

Pretty sure @Monk was reporting fresh chip & seal on lower 123 (the section you are talking about) as recent as last month.

I know he's been avoiding it since August / September time frame when we discovered it on a ride but I don't know if its better now or if he's actually been on it lately to know for sure.

I rode the lower half of 123 out of Clarksville 2 weeks ago and the chip and seal was terrible for many miles.

The road can't be trusted between the one lane bridge and highway 7.

The last time I rode it was October 29. While it was better than it was in September there is still too much gravel in the curves to really enjoy it.
