Good Goldwing service?

Anyone alive on this MD board?

I'm looking for recommendations for service locations. I'm in Bethesda MD, happy to travel for the right place so Frederick, Baltimore, NoVA, etc. is in play. Or DC if there are any.

Three different flavors of need, please shout out whatever you've got....

1) general stuff that I don't want to do myself. Which is not often, but asking just in case. I've had tires done at Cycles of Silver Spring before, they seem a good small shop, I don't know how Goldwing savvy for other things. Ideally, Fred Harmon & techdude have a love child that's up this way and working quietly out of a small backyard shed.

2) Honda dealer for warranty, etc. type work. If I had to go somewhere tomorrow, it might be Crofton. Rockville is a crap shoot. Not sure about Coleman in Arlington VA.

3) Suspension shop. Preferably with both Goldwing and Monotubes experience, or at least Progressive. The guys that put my Monotubes in are no longer in business. The dealers that I spoke to didn't know what Monotubes are.

This is my signature block. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My signature block is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life....

Try this place: Myers Cycle Engineering, Summit Ave. Kensington. (good, but expensive)

I've used Hyser Cycle in Laurel for warranty work, a few years ago.

I know I'm a lil late to post, but if you want suspension work done, I'd try no one other than

MRP Motorsports

5184 Ritchie Hwy, Suite B
Pasadena, MD 21122(410) 544-5113
(866) 599-5205

Ask for Kenny- I had some local guys put a Racetech system in for me, they botched it to high ****.....Kenny fixed me right up.

I've not had much luck with m/c dealerships, ever. Maybe I haven't been to the right one.

I'm pretty happy with Heyser for 1&2. Friendly, knowledgeable and capable service department. I used to use them and Crofton, but pretty much gave up on Crofton. Crofton does mount tires on a twofer deal - but I guess you won't be needing that service anymore.

Don't mean to hijack...

Had decent success with love motorsports in Homosassa. Did some tires and the brake recall. They have 2 GW specialists. The older guy, Dave is who I am comfortable with. He isn't speedy but he is very thorough.

Wow. Look at all this MD action. Before you know it we'll be having an RTE and making little stickers and serialized nicknames like Ohio, Wisconsin, and Florida.
