About four years ago, NV began issuing a sticker to affix to the plate similar to the annual renewal sticker. I've been challenged a few times because people don't look at the plate.

I have the disabled plate......Works for me. Figured the placard would
disappear the first time I used it. I have a heart condition, which is
not a visible disability. I do get strange looks from people, but so
far they have kept their mouth shut.....I would not hesitate to
verbally blast some smartass that can't mind his own business.

Why do that, their probably ticked thinking some lazy @$$ is parking where they shouldn't. If they see your tag or sticker, i'm sure their cool with it.

I have a placard for the Wing for use when needed. Spend some times on crutches or with a cain.

To keep the placard from being swiped I cut the hanger portion off the top then used clear packing tape to place in on it's side along the bottom of the windshield.
It's been there for a year now with no problem and I ride the bike most days Winter & Summer.

BTW Colorado now has HC plates for MC's, thanks to a friends efforts with the state, and if my back problems flare up again I'll likely go that route. For now the placard's (2 ea) are free with the Dr's recomendation for 5 years at a time.

I have a plate issued as well. Before I found out they had a MC plate, I made a color copy of the plate and put it under the gas tank cover. I wrote that the plate was issued to the registered owner, and secured in the truck to prevent theft. Never had a problem from leo's

Unreal

the dmv said no to the bike plate, but issued me a car plate, plus a hang tag to use on other vehicles

And the official letter I have spells out what can and cant be used, and it doesnt list a motorcycle for the hang tag usage

I guess Monday I will go to a different dmv and try my luck

Arkansas has a disabled motorcyce plate.

Hang tags and handicapped plates are restricted to passenger cars, motorcycles and class one (1) trucks.

I have a disabled plate on my suv, and a hang tag when I am in another vehicle

I did use my hang tag in California last week at one hotel, since the only spots avaible were blue zones, and my room was right there, so I just hung it on the bike mirror

Yes I am sure some buttwhipe would steal it at some point, not much you can do about that

You are restricted to one plate and one hang tag, or two hang tags. They probably said no to the bike plate because you got the car plate. You might be able to turn in the car plate and get a bike plate, then use the hang tag in the car.
