Highway Check - 95N - 26W / 77N - 81N / 81N - 88W

Anyone traveled these roads thru GA, SC, NC, VA, PA, NY in the last 2 months?

Not much help here, but I'll tell you what I know.

I-77 from Mt. Airy up to I-81 is clear. The view going up the mountain just past the VA/NC line (from about 1100 ft. above sea level to about 3000 ft. asl) is one of my favorite interstate views in the eastern US. It's really good on a clear day.

Was just up there over the 4th of July weekend.

Hope this helps a little.

Travel safely.

Also, where is 26? Are you planning to take the NJTP? That road can be clogged for MILES from exit 7-8 to exit 10 during the day. I don't even know why but the last few times I have been on that road over the last 5 years, it is STOPPED. Turned a 10 minute drive into an hour.

I-26 runs from Charleston, SC, up to the Tri-Cities area of East Tennessee.

Map safely.

Oh in that case, skip 95, you can run 81 straight up for a while and right into Binghamton! and skip the NYC smells. Much better roads out in PA and way nicer views. Unless you have a thing for dirty buildings.
If you can, Hit the Adirondacks. Great mountain riding.
