Maroon "Boonie Hat" sought

I've looked at dozens of websites and visited the local Army/Navy surplus store without any success.

Has anyone ever seen a Maroon boonie hat (military fatigue style). I'm looking for one to wear on bright, sunny, PGR missions (Ride Captain). I've contacted the PGR store and they're going to look into it.

If you've seen one in your travels, please let me know.

If you can find a cotton one why not buy it and a box of Rit dye and make your own? I did that with the doo-rag in my profile pic.

If you can't find what you are looking for, you can dye one. If you go on the Rit Dye website they will tell you how to mix colors of dye to get the exact shade of maroon you are looking for.

https://www.ritdye.com/colorit_color_formula_guide

Click on the "Cool Red" or "Red-Violet" color swatch under the "Yellow 1" colors. There are several shades of maroon to choose from.
