My 2009 ultra had aftermarket suspension. Ran around 1500 bucks for the entire setup. That is the closest bike I have ridden that even can compare to the goldwing handling. But. Some clown pulled out in front of me and it got totaled. I then went to a completely stock ultra classic and it was completely garbage.
I'm going to be heading up to this headquarters place of a local bike dealer tomorrow to see what kind of trade in they can do on my street bob, if this doesn't work out I might be owning two bikes. Hehehehe

Both a Heritage and a 2015 Wing, only had 1 Harley that was crap and I've had many. Sadly, my wing has been in the shop for over a week. Heated seat and grips go out, usually within 8 miles or so from start up.

There are deals on Houston Craigslist. if you can sell yours first and get financing approved elsewhere first.
I picked up a 2012 Wing with 3k miles for less than you were going to pay for the dealership one. I sold my electra/ultra first on ebay. Wintertime is the time to pick up a deal.

Certainly, it's the right time to buy - but this is also the time of year that I sell bikes.
I put them on Craigslist now - because income tax refunds are just around the corner.

Last year at the end of January, I sold four bikes in ten days.

This bike I'm looking at is a 2010 with 22k miles. Has tons of upgrades and is 9900. Not bad. Or is it?

That's a kick ass deal imho. My 06 w/ 51k was 8300. and that was a decent deal..so 1500 bucks more, 4 years newer and half the miles, yes please.

Does it have Navigation or ABS? If Navigation, it's a good deal, if ABS, its a great deal.

If no Navigation or ABS, its still a decent deal from a dealer and especially if the upgrades it has are ones you like.

I am not sure yet. Going to see it tomorrow. Got the paperwork done here locally. The bike is actually an hour outside the city. Some auto buyer company owns the shop. Headquarters actually here in Houston. It has a backrest. I'm sold. Hahaha

I would say it's a decent price. Look it over close for road rash. Feel under the crash bars, ect... Hope it works out for you. The part about the "auto buyer" would concern me. I prefer private party deals. There is always some guy that bought one and never rode it. It takes patience to find them sometimes. Good luck
