Helmet Brake Light/EMS Notification

Here is a new motorcycle product from the Consumer Electronics Show that was held in Las Vegas last week. This helmet brake light attaches to the back of your helmet, and is a brake light as well an emergency notification device. The cost is $99 dollars but you will need to sign up for the subscription service if you want the tracker/emergency notification. According to the manufacturer, it will be available for sale in May 2017.

Would this product be something you guys would put on your helmet?

I think the concept is a good idea. I do not like adding weight even a few Oz to the helmet. The size of that light is huge. I would install a brake strobe light and get a spot tracker .

For the price and suggested negatives, I don't see the advantage in this product. Just my opinon, we all have one.

He did say bluetooth so I'm assuming no wires to be connected....
I did purchase some kind of a strip light a few years ago, that was battery powered... but at this time it was worthless money wasted objest that didn't last long..
My advice is save your money and purchase a "high Viz" helmet....That works better!

The Gold Wing really doesn't lack for rear visibility. I don't see one more light in the rear solving a problem. Front and side is where I feel more vulnerable FWIW.

The most disappointing part of being self employed is that I still have a jerk for a boss.
