HID Question

Looking to install HIDd. There are 35 Watt and 55 watt systems out there. Which one does most use?

Go with the 35W.
The 55W will guarantee that you will be flashed by every oncoming vehicle even in the midday sun.

I had a quality set of 35W HID's installed, but the scatter from them was too great, and I was constantly getting flashed at night.
If you insist, go with the 4300k bulbs.
Anything higher will result in, again, constant flashing during the day, even with 35W bulbs.

I have the 35 Watt'ers in my low-beams. I use the 4300 K's because they, supposedly, put out more "usable" light. I couldn't care less about if they are "yellower" or not. I want performance. Brought to you from our friends at Binford!

with the wings reflective lens all you need is the 35watt 6k color and you will be happy.you won't believe it. And the 35w just plug into existing sockets thats it. With 55w most likely you will need a separate relay harness

Cant help you on the HID but have you considered running LED's? I put a set in wifes Cadillac srx a couple weeks ago they are super bright. I am looking at getting the Pathfinder set from Socal They just recently lowered the price to $110 for lows or highs. Looks like It's a good time to buy.

No help needed on the HID front. I learned my lesson.
I went to the Socal LED's high & low last summer. Very happy.

If you get a chance can you possibly snap a picture sitting on the bike with low beams only. I believe the one on their side is high and low. If low is bright enough I think I will just get the lows and not the highs. I hardly ever use High's now and since installing LED lows in wife's car I have not used the high's in it.
