Thank you to Capt. Bob

This is a thank you to one of the good guys (not like @Boomer1832cc )

Capt. Bob graciously offered me his home and friendship this week so I could make the trip down south during the IBA and Bike Week. He sure didn't have to - and he and his lovely wife made for a quite enjoyable stay.

So a big thank you to Bob - you are a gentleman.

We thought about having a turkey dinner Thursday - this was in his backyard when we were leaving in the morning...

I only got one guest bedroom but I got a 3 acre pasture in back with lots of room to camp if you don't mind the wild turkeys, deer and other critters like a pesky coyote that hangs out back.

Well I am a known camper guy, so that is an excellent offer. Although i was making a funny, I appreciate your offer. You are a generous man.

Note: My sister and her husband live in Sanford, a little north of Orlando and I have visited there a few times. I always have a place to hang my hat there, but they don't have any turkeys in their back yard, so I might stop by.

I don't even shoot at them. I think the turkeys are funny to watch especially when it's matting season but they do tear up my wife's flower beds. My wife likes to watch the deer out of the kitchen window. She really likes to see the fawns when they start popping out until the mothers start eating her flowers. As far as the coyotes go they do help keep the feral cat population down and I can live with that as long as they don't come into the fenced in part of the yard. As far as being a "bad shot" even you could knock the eye out of a flea at 100 yards with this.
