To be fair, he said "at least"... I'm still going good and strong after 11 years on my 2006! No change considered until the 2nd or 3rd year of a new GW. As long as there's no sissy shifting on it...

Maybe short supply in Canada, two on the showroom floor in Springdale, AR...fly in and ride it home . I remember all the hype about the African Twin, I was riding a Yamaha Tenere at the time, and how you wouldn't be able to find one. Now they are collecting dust and discounted a few grand. Adventure Touring is fun for a while but it has such a high profile and with the boxes on them they sure catch a bunch of wind, as I found out going through Wyoming. Wing is much better in the wind, but alas...not in the gravel.

Sure hope a redesign comes out in the 2018 model year. I'm starting to look for a used 2015 or 2016 and getting a new model will increase the number of fully loaded used ones on the market and reduce the price. I don't have to have the newest or latest toys just nice but reasonably priced. 😊

And after one is lightly used at 3 years or so old and gets into my price range. Thinking in 2025 a nice used 2022 with 10K and some accessories already installed. Hopefully I can still hold the thing up.

Send a message via AIM to Italian Stallion
I've got one message for Honda: "Enough of this bullchit ***** footing around, teasing us here and there with minimalist upgrades!" Come out with a new design and give us what we want! I want a handlebar-mounted espresso machine! Nough said!

New Wing

It's going to have electric windscreen, they're upping the engine to a 2000 cc, programmable collision avoidance control, their dropping the center of gravity while not affecting the seat height, adding a fully adjustable seat fore and aft to accommodate taller riders and their adding another 6 square feet of storage, they will also be adding a trailer package to accommodate the new Honda Tow-a-Long, all this was revealed to me by a fellow that was in the same cell as me!
