@Nando I believe someone tried it and it's too big / rubs...but I can't find the post. Regardless...I don't think this will work for you as I think we've already established that you are more...eh....picky...than most people so what works for them might not work for you anyway.

Besides....you're probably nuts about this tire thing anyway.....that's not a criticism...it's coming from a self professed nutcase named 2WheelNut.

Buy a tire, mount the tire, ride it for 5-20K miles (YMMV) and see if you like it. If you like it...buy it again.

If you keep going with these tire posts, I"m going to buy you a tire, mount it on a my spare rim and send it to you.

PS...what you need is a good friend to steal your bike, put a tire on there and not tell you so you won't obsess about it. Every nutcase needs a friend like that in their life. Happy to be your nutty friend if needed.

2004 Suzuki GSXR 750 (Track)

2Wheel, If obsess enough, will you send me a wheel and tire combo too?

A 180/70-R16 fits, but most tires that size are made for the 1500 Valkyrie and seem to have very soft rubber compositions, so they don't last long. 7-9 thousand miles if babied. Tire threads are the greatest!!!!!

YOU SAID THE 'R' WORD ! You said the 'r' word, you said the 'r' word. What's next? The 's' word. I'm fighting the cabin fever so bad, just aching to get riding, and your dropping 'r' bombs.
Your turn...

My apologies, I did not mean to incite excruciating mental anguish. You 'll forgive my liberal use of these sacrilegious words as we do not practice that S religion around here, and the R rituals are warm and rideable.

My sympathies on the fever. I pray it be over soon.

What we get here is claustrophobia-paranoid syndrome from going around in circles on a rock full of humans in cages. Thus, the treatment protocol for me calls for ample-space-environmental-road therapy; which will start around Mid-May; the praxis of which lasts 'till Aug. This antidotidose usually lasts me a few months, but, like, by now, I am back on delusional visions seeing people trapped in cages from which they can't seem to be able to get out, nor even get some fresh air...I 'll admit it: I am a mess without Wings.

You better soon make your decision or the tire you are riding now will flat out leave you on side of the road. You do remind me of someone who wears out his computer checking and rechecking before he can pull the trigger....not saying who but he knows.

As opposed to those with absolutely zero patience who live by the motto "ready - fire - aim"...
