What to cover while Trailering

Am going to trailer my trike to my riding destination. Open utility type trailer.

I am worried about the ignition only.

Anyone have any issues when hauling it in rain and not starting due to rain water in the ignition switch?

I guess I can cover it with electrical tape??????

There is really no issue with water getting in the switch. There is a little door that covers the key hole to make it water resistant. Bikes sit out in the weather all summer with no problem.
If you're thinking about an electrical issue .... the electric part of the switch is separate and sealed from the tumblers that are below the key hole door. If you were unable to sleep at night thinking about it.you could put a dab of Vaseline over the key hole to stop water from getting in at all.
Safe trip

Have ridden too many miles in too much rain. Never had a problem with the ignition. Radio controls and rain suits but not ignition.
