I would also try a little heat & a little tapping.

If that don't do it, as long as it is still on it's side, you could fill the "stud chamber" up with a penetrant.
As said on other posts ATF & Acetone makes a good penetrant..

Make sure you are using enough leverage (Long breaker bar) to get the proper torque.

Hopefully the stud stays in and you don't have to cut the lug nut off. Good luck..
