I've just asked the supreme launderer who has washed my jacket before. Her advice (my experience is if she give you advice, you'd better follow it or you'll regret it for a long time!) is to remove any removable lining and pads. Then spray highly soiled areas and wear areas with SHOUT (or similar pre-wash). Wash the jacket in the machine with warm or cold water. Include a heavy towel in the machine to provide some balance. Hang the jacket to dry.
