I also have a 29" inseam, and love my RDL. Flatfooting at a stop is something I have to work for. But, I have about 30,000 miles on my seat, and wouldn't trade it for any other seat (and, yes, I tries several other seats before getting to the RDL)

If you can find a fellow rider with a similar inseam, see if you can try out the fit before you make the rather sizable investment.
