Future RTE's

Everyone list places you would like to see a RTE sometime this year.

Der Dutchman 720 OH-97, Bellville, OH 44813
I picked this because I liked the one in Plain City and hopefully some of the guys from the northern part of the state would come too.

Hey guys!!! Lamberts is awesome! It ranks right up there with the Scioto Ribber with me. I hope to be able to work it into my schedule again this year. Yes, I am retired. But I can only take so many trips and still keep Mamma happy. You know $$$$

Well going to Der Dutchman looks like a nice place. The Hillbilly Hot Dogs seems to have some problems with their bathroom facilities. I mean they look usable, but could get messy if it is raining. BTW that poor guy who stopped there on his Suzuki either really liked the food and stayed or he died while eating there. Looks like his bike has been there for some time. Of course nothing needs to be said about The Ribber.

I started this thread to get people to post where they would like to have RTE's this summer, but I guess no one is interested in RTE's. I listed Hillbilly Hot Dos because one of the guys at Capricorn in mentioned it. It is only about 1 hour and 15 minutes for me or 66 miles. It will be a lot farther for most other Ohio riders. (remember...NO SLAW) LOL

If no one else is interested, how about you ( @vettesherps and @Rail32 ) meet me this summer at Lambert's in Sikeston Mo.

For me Tom I really don't care that much where the meeting place is. It's just a reason to ride for me then talk bikes with fellow riders once there. Whether it's for a hot dog, a burger or piece of pie somewhere makes no difference to me. Anyplace will do. Im more concerned about being able to make a nice route to that destination.

With the above being said I wouldn't mind doing some rides to Northern Ky this year. The reason being is I can make nice "interstate free" routes there and still make good time. My favorite Rte last year was when we went to Ourbest Restaurant in Smithfield KY. Not because they had the best food or pie but because there was a great turnout and I was able to ride a couple hundred or so miles without touching an interstate.

I will post some Rte's later this year but when I post mine it will be for my own selfish reasons....good riding roads for me
