Thanks Glen! Didn't mean to push you.

I should be there. I been looking forward to attending this event for some time now.

Talked to BigJammer, himself and Mr. Machine plan on going. I may ride to and/or fro with them if they happen to leave when I want.

Plan on being there, Lord willing and if the crik doesn't rise (as my grandpa used to say; back in his day in Wheeler, Texas, I think they meant it literally).

My traveling buddy Old Fred and I are planning on coming if there is room for a couple more. (Someone has to keep an eye on Hoosier Daddy) He lives closer than I do. It is exactly 1,030 miles for me. I will most likely take two days to get there. We will make reservations when it gets closer.

I may too bring a pistol or two. I wish I could haul my 300 min mag on the bike, but I don't even know if your range can handle it.

Well, fiddlesticks! Went to mark my calendar and found that I have a rally to attend in Marble Falls that weekend. I was looking forward to another pistol shootin', barbeque eatin', tire kickin' day in Deep East Texas. Oh well, y'all have fun. Hope to catch it in 2018!

Tom, if I took the quickest route it would only be 961miles. But I'm gonna add two more states to my map (Mississippi & Louisiana) by taking just a bit longer route.

Good deal! There is only 7 states I have not ridden in: MN, ND, WA, OR, CA, AZ, and NV. It doesn't look like I will make the rest of them.

Kyle, I'm looking forward to seeing you. Now as for the saying about "if the creek doesn't rise", we are all too familiar with that one. Our 2015 RTE featured a LOT of rain. We had enough rain that the last few people to leave had to ford Wolf Creek for the creek rose enough that it rose out of its' banks and was over the bridge. That happens usually once or twice a year here. Since I'm now retired I don't have go to work so it doesn't bother me.

I ride too fast, too far, and too often to ride anything but a Goldwing rolling on a car tire pulling a Tailwind trailer because friends don't let friends vote Democrat.
