Front Honda Emblem Replacement Ideas

The Honda emblem on the nose has a few letters that look to be very weak (adhesive backing), looking for ideas on something different to put up there, but NOT the big"H" that come on the cars.

I put the Honda bra on the front. Easier to clean and no bugs between the letters.

How's a good way of removing the Honda emblem?
I'd like to just take it right off.

Don't they leave a sticky residue? How do you get the final "squeaky clean" appearance?

Why not one of those Gold Eagles with talons extended? I thought I'd do that but my Honda hasn't failed yet.

Soak with WD-40 or Ronsonol lighter fluid (no smoking while doing this). Let is set for awiile and then PUT ON GLOVES & loop some fishing line under there and "saw" the letters off. Finish with Ronsonol, then wax and buff. Do it before your paint fades.

BTW - eventually, the gold plating will come off the letters anyway.

Hmmm ... like that better than the "use a heat gun" method I used some years ago ... got a little TOO close and some waviness of the plastic was noticeable, at least to me.

The sticky residue was easy to clean off with WD-40!
