Or, our good member @cycledude will make you a real nice one so he can put a couple tanks of gas in his bike.

Just saw a new post about steering bearing difficulties. Glad I decided this morning to let my dealer install my Progressive Springs, All Balls Steering Bearings, Secondary Brake recall and state inspection. Rode it over late morning. Possibly be ready Fri or Sat, as the Goldwing expert had 2 jobs to do before he could do mine. But, knowing the mechanic as I do, he probably will have the races in the freezer tonight or Thursday night. The biggest relief is, in the event there are install problems, etc, the fix is on the shop, not me.

Got a call around noon today that my Goldwing was completed. About a 24 hour turn for Progressive Springs cartridges, bushings, seals and All Balls steering bearings. Plus, the Goldwing ace mechanic did the Secondary Master Cylinder replacement and state inspection. I was told he had 2 jobs ahead of mine but that may have changed. On the ride home I was quite impressed with the responsiveness of the steering as it is quick and nimble. I asked him what he torqued the bearings and he said he followed the All Balls instructions of 28 ft. lbs. I also noticed that I have no more front-end dive when I come to a stop. Don't know if that is due to the fork rebuild or the brake cylinder replacement, but who cares? It works for me.
