I suspect Sena will have the FreeWire for sale on their website before anyone else gets them.

There are always some that go out before the release date to get folks started talking. I have been the recipient of many new items for the F6B before release. Did not hurt to ask, and you never know !

I emailed Sena directly and got an eta. They are expecting to ship these mid october. I will be trying one to see if it solves the bluetooth issue.

Looks like their release schedule is slipping. I contacted Sena last month and they said a mid-September release.

When I contacted Sena I found it will only work with the 20S. And they will expect you to have 2 of them if you are trying to get your Passenger setup with the Goldwing factory system via bluetooth. All sounds expensive to me. But it will be slick.

Initially, but Sena also said it would work with other units later on.

Looks like Sena may not know for sure when they will have the Freewire out. I messaged them yesterday through their FB page and here is the exchange:

Any update on when the Freewire will ship and how much it will cost? Love my 20s units, but would like to tie into the infotainment system on the bike. Thanks!!!!

The FreeWire will be available at the end of September and the price should be around $249 USD.

Let's see how accurate they are on this. I just ordered an SM10 to use and I'll wait till this has been out for a while before I move to it.

I currently use the SM10 to integrate the Wing's system into my Sena 20s. What the Freewire brings is the ability to integrate the CB and allow you to communicate via the bike comms to your passenger IF they also have a Freewire. The wife and I use the Sena's to communicate to each other and I don't have a CB. So, I'll be sticking to my SM10 and not upgrading as I'll gain nothing.

Now, if I had a CB, I probably would upgrade to the Freewire but probably would still use the Sena to communicate with my wife.

If anyone has a SMH10 Harness from Sierra Electronics along with the module, and upgrades to the Freewire and will soon be looking for a new home for the SMH10 solution, let me know. Yeah I know its a few months away. But me getting a CB all done on my bike will be months away anyway.
