Several years ago techies on this board talked about converting the push to talk cb lever to a garage door opener mounted under the top shelter, I did just that. It disconnects the cb but I have no use for it anyway so it works great for me. I pull up, push the lever, door opens, gloves or no gloves.

Save your money and just go to Wal Mart. Go to the work gloves section and find the special Wells Lamont glove with the special fingertip designed to be used on touch screens. They work great. The little cardboard stapled to the gloves will say it is for touch screen electronic use or something like that. Some people just refuse to wear anything from Wal Mart and if they have the money to waste go spend it I guess.....me I love Wal Mart.

Good idea using the PTT switch! Glad it works for you!
