Maintenance Disk

Hello All

I have the Fred Harmon's maintenance disks and #10 will not play at all. It is clean and no scratches but wont play. Does anyone have one they would like to sell to me? It is $27 to have a new one made, and I can't afford that. ???

Call the distributor and explain the problem to them. They should send you a replacement.

Fred's correct. I had the same problem and after contacting Fred, I emailed Angelride and they sent me a replacement. My disk delaminated.

That looks like what is happening to mine. I did call and they told me it was going to be $27 just for the one disk.

I have a similar problem with disk #13. I am planning to do the brake fluid flush as soon as it gets a little warmer so trying to watch the process on the DVD but it gets part way through and says it is skipping the defective sections so I can't get all the information. I've tried it on several players with the same results but there are no scratches on it and it looks like it is in perfect condition.

If anyone has any ideas how to make it work that would be great. I think I have the general idea how to change the fluid but this is the first time on a Goldwing for me.

If you have a bad disc, you have to contact the distributor and return the disc to them for inspection. If you don't return the bad disc, they will charge you for a replacement.

I contacted the dealer and was told that a new disk would be the $27. She did say that if I wanted to I could send the bad one back to them and they would examine the disk to see if it was something on there end. So I would have to ship it to them, then pay to have a new one sent to me. Dont really care to do that. It is a simple little disk that would be better if I could just download it. Oh well

I bought a set of truck tires from Discount Tire 6 years ago. If i called them about one that delaminated, doubt they would ship me a new replacement tire for free.
