Intermittent flashing ABS light

07 Wing. Noticed light flashing when reaching cruise. Stopped and checked for anything loose and after starting engine and riding away, light was normal. Rode 100 miles and light remained normal.

I checked for codes and found none. I checked sensor gaps and cleaned sensors.

I'm thinking a poor connection somewhere. Where to look?

I have an 08 and have had an intermittent ABS light since it was new. I have done the same as you and cleaned the sensors several times. What I have found is it always happens when it is below 60 deg. out. Never had it come on while above 60ish degrees. Cool mornings usually bring it on and by mid morning it goes off and stays off. I have learned to live with it.

This symptom was a common ABS module failure indicator on a couple of older BMWs I owned. Since owning my Wing I haven't heard much regarding this problem with Honda. Have you verified proper function of the ABS system while riding under this warning condition?

I know it may seem silly but have you guys tried disconnecting battery for ten minutes to try that? Our bike have a lot going on electronically... might be worth a try...
Good luck..

It might be good to check that the 2 bolts holding the front sensor are snug and make sure it is set flat in the holder. After replacing a front tire and double, triple checking everything BUT those two bolts, I had an intermittent ABS light issue.

I have checked both wheel sensors and they are good. My next step is to check the connectors on the
modulators and control module.

Same problem

Mine has been doing the same thing for about 3 years. It is temperature sensitive. Now the temp has started to creep up now mine will start acting up at about 66 degrees. I need to get out the service Manual and see what code it is throwing. I have an 06 airbag.
