I have a 2010 GOLDWING with the original battery. It has finally died on me , I am looking to replace it with same quality but prefer better than factory. I was thinking of a jel cel battery. What are your thoughts and what is a good replacement, were is a good place to get it.

Garage
AGM, absorbent glass may battery. Sealed battery and needs no venting. Yuasa has many choices and wide range of cca. Just about any place on line that sells bike parts and I think some Wal-Mart stores sell them.

When you have one, ride it. If you have one and don't ride it, whats the point.

Not to sound stupid, but since the stock battery lasted from 2010 to 2017 or about 6+ years, why would you consider something else? That is a great lifespan for a battery especially when you realize how dependent the Wing is on a powerful battery.

I'm just lazy and trust what works for me!

I don't think you can do any "better" than stock. My 2010 is still going strong on its original, but I have a dry Yuasa sitting there when needed.

Yuasa is the way to go. I had a no name battery from pep boys in the wing it lasted only 4 years the Yuasa lasted 6 years so worth the extra cost.

Just ordered my replacement yesterday. Can't beat the price, service and quality. My current battery(same make/model) is still working, but purchased it in 2007. Decided I've pushed it long enough.

msrvpeig,

The one you provided the link to is 270 cold cranking amps.

Look just below that one and there is the 310 cold cranking amp version... only 4 bucks more, it is the one I purchased.

Yuasa YUAM720BH YTX20HL

That one is the 310 amp version for $90 instead of $86 for the 270 amp version.
