Garmin 595LM mike transmitting issues on 2005 gl1800

Have a new Bell half helmet with the J&M headset using the standard plug in connection to my 2005 Goldwing. I can recieve phone calls but I can't figure out if it is possible to talk on the phone using the integrated system of my 2005 gl. Is there a way to plug in the "mic in" feature of the garmin 595 to our system to be able to transmit voice and hold a conversation on the phone? I am currently plugged into the aux 3.5 millimeter plug and can do everything else I want to, except talk on the system. Has anybody else had this issue and figured it out?

I ran the wire for the Mic up alongside the intercom wire from under the left fairing pocket and it worked fine until Ping Jockey showed me how to run it under the top shelter near the meter panel, then into the wiring channel on the left handelbar and out at the Zumo... nifty!
