I assume it Presidenta day weekend?
I'm booked at Long Street Casino in the Amargosa Valley that weekend with Dangerous Curves (a womens riding group out of the Bay area) but would like to pop by for a visit Pooch. You boys at the usual places in Beatty?

Motel 6 in Beatty is the most popular lodging place.
Hi , new member here. My wife & I have reservations at motel 6 for that weekend. Hope to meet other members for the ride up from AZ. Sounds like a good time , good ride and meet new people. Like the old advertisement said, "you meet the nicest people on a Honda"
Well, it's nice to have some reassurance that some of the roads are NOT going to be open when we get there:
Three months after flash floods hammered Death Valley, one of the national park's main attractions and two of its paved entrance roads remain closed, and they're expected to stay that way well into 2016.
Spokeswoman Abby Wines said the park hopes to reopen Badwater Road through Jubilee Pass at Death Valley's southern end by June and Scotty's Castle Road through Grapevine Canyon at the park's northern end sometime in fall.
Wow... have to admit, I knew there'd been some flooding, but didn't know conditions had gotten that bad. Glad I went and visited Scotty's Castle for the first time last year, as I almost didn't.

Or fly in and out of LAX. There's an EagleRider right at the Airport. Flying into and out of LAX can often be so much less expensive than other airports it can sometimes be worth the hassle.
I haven't, but pretty sure that you can. I think there's an Eaglerider location there... and even if you can't rent a Wing, you could rent something else (HD, BMW, etc).
I was thinking the same... but then again (not a criticism, just an observation), the local AZ, NV, & CA boards are also far more quiet than what I'm used to back east.
Progressive Monotubes now installed as well as new fork seals to fix a left fork seal leak.... and went on a short 10 mile ride Sunday afternoon at the completion of the repair/modification! Stuff needed to be done to make this ride.....
Ten to 15 degrees warmer in the valley...that'll be rideable. Long range wx forecasts available now. As long as this trough backs off a few hundred miles north it'll be okay.
EDIT: Three weeks?
MY calendar shows two weeks, but what do *I* know??
I've used this in the past with reasonable accuracy (not that there's such a thing...) forecast out two weeks - this is Vegas for that weekend:
This from the guy that used to deal with letters and numbers and such...
