Getting in the mood

This happens every year. The holidays are over, it's a new year and my focus looks ahead towards plans for our brief summer. This year could be the start of really good things (motorcycle wise)
My wife retired in October so no longer do we need to restrict our trips to 7 or 9 days. No longer do we need to have her beg for a day off so we can go camping or hiking/biking.
Our big trip this year will probably be a tour of parts of CO then the grand canyon and loop back through arkansas and north to MN. We were planning on Hwy1 but decided to hold on that until next summer.
Along with this will be lots of 3 and 4 day weekends dedicated to all the fine things in life, camping, fly fishing and general back road explorations.

I am getting pumped up even though it's -3 outside

That sounds fantastic. My wife is retired, I still have some years to go. Unfortunately she doesn't like riding too much, but she will ride if we haul the bike to a location. Be safe, and have some fun!
