In this case I wonder what "covered bridge" might mean.

There are at least 11 covered bridges in Wi. But according to the rules I gotta take a new pix . Most are in southern half of the state. But Kevin you have one in Elk area that will require a few miles of dirt roads to get there . I may run WR up there this weekend and head to delta diner afterwards or visa versa ??

Livin life to its fullest daily to prevent regrets later,,, or I am a freaking loon . Either way I am good .
Where's Rail now??http://share.findmespot.com/shared/f...ahHnkalxai42Hi
= no eating or drinking warning . Whenever this is seen on one of my posts ,please put down the food and drink as to prevent choking hazard while trying to laugh with mouth full. Nothing worse than coffee out ones nose landing on keyboard . Nothing !

Quick Google search brings up a >>List of 52 Covered Bridges<< in Wisconsin. Thought this would be pretty easy. Perhaps I was wrong?

I know of 2 for sure that I took pics of last year on Rustic Roads. One is attached (I know, last year, and I'm disqualified anyways).

A covered bridge is a timber-truss bridge with a roof and siding which, in most covered bridges, create an almost complete enclosure. The purpose of the covering is to protect the wooden structural members from the weather. Uncovered wooden bridges have a lifespan of only 10 to 15 years because of the effects of rain and sun.

I took this pic in Fort Atkinson on my way back from getting my new to me trailer.

It use to be a railroad line years ago and is currently a bicycle/walking path.

Enjoy

Nice trailer Kevin!

And, look who's 1st!

That's the other covered bridge I was thinking of near a rustic road. But I'm starting to suffer from C.R.S.

Sure is nice to see where and what it is with each pix. Makes it nice if one wants to see and find it later . Doc could you think about altering rules ?. I found a covered bridge I never knew it was there yesterday within 50 miles of my house
But I was in truck . That's not the one I am gonna post here this weekend though . The one I found was by cedar creek mall in Wausau . Bicycle trail and pretty small.
