Brake shutter after recall

Has any one had this?? Does the recall cover this? The rear brake pedal seems to go down farther than before also.

Sounds like they didn't get all the air out. Most people remark about how hard the pedal is after the recall.
Rocky was one of them.

Definitely sounds like air in the system. Return to dealer and explain the problem. They need to re-bleed and then TEST for satisfactory results - and ensure brake lights and cruise control all work as they should too. This is why I am so reluctant to have anything done unless I can do it myself. Relatively speaking, the recall is a simple procedure for a competent mechanic.

Does the dealer do the Rocky bleed?

My wing's doing the shudder bug too. Had the recall done in Jan and had no issues until the weather temps went into the 80's. Called the dealer and the service manager said need to bleed again and covered under recall. Going in this Fri. Heading up to Americade next Wed. and don't want to have any issues while I'm up there.

Even Rocky didn't do the Rocky bleed after the recall recall.

(and he has posted that his bike and riding style usually requires redoing the bleed after 'x' amount of time -- he posted that he has exceeded that interval and has been surprised that (post recall) it still hasn't needed the Rocky bleed)

Mine just started doing this yesterday.. When I got home I looked and there is almost no pad lining left. The dealer made sure to sell me a new tire while he had the bike. Too bad he didn't look at the brakes also.. I'll replace the pads and see if the shudder goes away...
