Oh... I don't claim to have a clean sparkly Wing... I drive mine. But it gets good maintenance!

The only hitches that attach to the main frame are Bushtes,Rivco and Hitch-doc. I would stick with one of these.

If still interested, just installed Bushtech on my 14 last weekend.

I think I could come up with some pictures??? might take a few days
as I am out of town a lot.

Here's a Bushtec Deluxe with mudflap on my '01. Many miles without a single issue. I leave mine as shown all the time, but it is very easy to pull the hidden pin and remove the vertical hitch that is behind the rear fender. As others have said you need the isolator to protect the wiring and computer in your wing should a dead short ever develop somewhere in the trailer wiring.

I forgot to upload the pictures so maybe I'll get it right this time. Just ignore that dented exhaust heat shield....some idiot fell off the bike at a Burger King this past summer and left his foot in the wrong place. OUCH!. I just received the new heat shield in the mail today to replace that dented piece.

I just went to order a HitchDoc hitch for my 2013 this morning..... they could not say yea or nay on compatibility with my car tire. I'm running a centramatic wheel balancer with a Yokohama runflat 195/55/16.

Any thumbs up or thumbs down on this combo with a hitch?...... any of the 3 frame mounts would be fine for me.

I do see lots of folks running bushtec with car tires ..... so that's a thumbs up I believe for that brand.

Zee, I run a Yokohama run-flat 195/55/16 and have a hitch, but I don't know what kind it is. It was on the bike when I bought it. It does great. Maybe you should ask on the Darkside forum????

Here is a pic of two different Bushtec stingers for the 2nd gen Wing (some call them tongues, bars, receivers [NOT], ect), one is straight no offset, other is 2 inch drop. If you go that route, be sure and get the correct one for the trailer you are going to pull.

I am using an Add On, and has worked great. Have pulled my Roll A Home about 15K miles so far without any issues. Also running Darkside and the tire fits fine.

Johnny, that's a rise not drop.

When I was hunting for a flat bar a year or two ago, it was hard to find. Called Bushtec, hunted on Curt site, etc.
