Pathfinder LED Fog/Driving Cowl Lights

So, does anyone have them? Any issues with them? How far out do they project light down the road?

Looking to change my current ones, EC Six Shooter. Had the top row go out just a few months after install, EC replaced it. Now 18 months later the other one's top row went out. Still under warranty but have to remove and ship to EC to be fixed or replaced. Not confident they will last.

That is interesting. I had original EC SixShooters and had the exact problem you just mentioned. Twice.. Bought Bike MP3 960s and one quit and one broke real quick. They warrantied it but I had already purchased the newer style ECs that look like the original SixShooters and likely what you have. They have been great and have lasted longer now than all my other "messes" combined. I have had great "luck" with them. But to stay on topic,,,, no, I haven't tried the Pathfinders....... yet.

Yes, these were the new 6 shooters. Two failures in 18 months so i'm not exactly happy with them. Each time they are removed, I'm paying the shop to do it, plus shipping so even though they are under warranty, it is still costing me money. I don't mind spending money on something as long as it works and lasts. I have the Twisted Throttle "original" Denali leds on another bike, put them on about 6 years ago and they are still going strong.

The Pathfinders were recommended by the shop so just trying to see what others think about them.

I'm in a similar boat. I have the Bikemp3 960's installed now.
Since Bikemp3 has gone out of business, I'm looking for a plan B for when I have a failure.
The track record for the 960's isn't great.
Socal and Pathfinder have a very good reputation. After watching Cruiseman's install video of the Pathfinder GL18RFL kit, I like what I saw.
I'm also curious what owners have to say.
Wingstuff's reviews all look good, but it's still beneficial to read what forum members have to say.

2013 F6B, black, with ABS
If it ain't broke, try to fix it anyways

Yes.
None.
Not far; they're fog lamps.

I've been looking at both lights and I like the more powerful EC lights but there problems are pushing me toward the SoCal lights, I haven't read anything bad about them yet.

As Kid Doc noted, they are fog lamps and don't project very far. Their spread - illuminating the fog and center lines - is good and helps at night. However, I think their best feature is the dual color turn signal. More attention getting light in front can't hurt!

My 2016 has them. They work fine but are not the most noticeable to others.
With the fogs on, the turn signals are washed out and not seen by others.
No problems at all but if I had it to do over I would just get the plain old bright LED ones.
But that's just me.

I've went to SoCals LED's and I'm one happy Winger. Can see twice as far with a brighter light. Nobody flashes at me. I went and did all bulbs this winter. Had Low Beams since early August and that was 100% better. Went ahead & installed the Hi Beams, complete rear kit & front switchbacks in behind my clear turn signal lens's. So I now have extra bright running lights in the turn signals, they switch to yellow for turn signal. Don't forget the LED flasher unit. I think you get what you pay for, SoCalMotoGear is number 1 in my book.

Being blacked out, I spend no money on chrome !!
