Xm connecter location

ANYONE KNOW THE LOCATION UP FRONT WHERE I CAN FIND THE OEM XM ANTENNA CONNECTER? I BOUGHT A NEW ANTENNA AND WANT TO MOUNT IT ON THE DASH WHERE I SHOULD GET AT LEAST SOME BETTER RECEPTION.

Thumbs up What year bike ??

On the 2012, it runs on the right side along the Cruise Control module. There is a snap together connector with a small grey wire leading into and out. Then out front under the front garnish. No need to buy a new antenna, just pull the Honda supplied XM antenna out and place it on top of the dash... Works GREAT !!

Thanks,
Me !!

Is this antenna on all 2012 wings? What do you mean by the front garnish?

thats the area i keep getting bogged down with. they under the "front garnish" which would lead me to believe under the front panel behind the windshield.would have loved to just relocate the original, but didnt want to get caught up with ALOT of useless bodywork removal to do it. figured i'd order new antenna and just hook it into the existing system.have tried on various sites to get a step -by-step proceedure with photos as i'm sure i'm not the only one with the "poor reception" problem.

It's the panel on front of the bike just under the windshield. The XM antenna lives under that piece of plastic.

Thanks,

Do all 2012 wings have this antenna or just ones that had xm?
