Great being able to take your best friend along for the ride. My Akita would need a trailer to haul him around. Maybe one of these day's I can get a Harbor Freight trailer frame and get him on a few ride too! Thanks for sharing.

Schnauzer

We have a miniature schnauzer that rides with my wife and I a lot. She gets a lot of pictures taken of her. She rides in a pet carrier on the luggage rack and can stick her head out of the top of the bag. She is tethered from the inside of the bag.

If you want to trailer your best friend, I saw in the latest issue of Wingworld that Wags is back in business!

Kinda late to the party responding to an old thread. I had to buy a set of doggles when my best friend rode in the car or bike as the wind would dry out her eyes.

We used to take our Pom along on rides. From our home in IN he rode with us to IA, OH, the UP in MI and KY. I was surprised how many hotels let you bring a pet with you. Had my wife and I's name on the back of the bike and the dog's name on the carrier on the luggage rack. He liked to bark to get everyone's attention. All I had to do was ask him if he wanted to go for a ride and he ran and got into his carrier. I put clear plexiglass over the holes to cut down on the wind. We even took him on the last ride of his life to the Vet's to put him down when his kidneys failed.

D**n, got a tear in my eyes when I read your last sentence, but it was a great way for his final ride.
Their is a reason they call them mans best friend.
