Another thing you're probably not aware of is that in '14 and newer 'Wings and F6B's the transmission was internally upgraded with different 4th and 5th gears.
The dog engagement was changed, as well as the gears are now made of harder steel.

If it was my coin, I'd go with a carryover '15.
That way you wouldn't have to worry about tire degradation, hydraulic fluid contamination, a fully discharged battery, and anything else.
And you'd have cruise and the upgraded trans.
And don't forget to make sure they've done the brake recall on any model year you buy.

2013 F6B, black, with ABS
If it ain't broke, try to fix it anyways

Bucfan11, that is a very tempting deal even if it is 800 miles from me. I wouldn't mind visiting the sunshine state given its 8* here in Ohio today. That bike looks like he added cruise control as well. I wonder if $9500 would buy it? Thanks for sharing.

Scratch that... Just noticed you are in Lakeland, FL and the bike on EBay is in California. Bummer...

Just to offer some pricing data.... CSA here in Tucson is a well respected used bike dealer..... he has contacts throughout the area to buy the used motorcycle trade ins from the car and RV dealers... they call him and ask how much he'll pay.... that's what they offer car customer and just passes the motorcycle to him..... his inventory turns quick and his prices are pretty much market for this area (tucson). There's usually wiggle room in the advertised prices. You can make offers. But he has 2 F6Bs in inventory for data points.

The prices I see in this thread for new seem really good.

Well guys, I did it. After a little more negotiating, I bought the 2013 F6B leftover. I think the dealer gave me a fair deal.
2013 F6B Standard $13,000
Doc Fee $250
Here's the crazy thing... When he saw me wavering on the '13 vs the '15 Deluxe, he ordered me the passenger backrest and heated grips at his cost ($535) and threw in a free center stand and free labor to install everything. Aside from self cancelling signals, I basically got a deluxe for $13,535. At this point I'm looking at roughly $2200 more for the '15 deluxe with cruise, transmission change, and 2 years newer. I plan on keeping the bike and just couldn't justify paying $2200 more.

Bottom line: I'm happy with the deal and I got a new F6B in red!

That is more than a fair deal to me.
Lots of miles of smiles coming your way.
Congrats.
