Mirror cracked

The right mirror on my wife's 2013 F6B cracked right down the middle a few weeks ago, when it got down below zero. It either had a little moisture behind the mirror where it's glued to the mount, or it was ticked because I left it out in the cold shed. Either way, I can't find just the mirror glass anywhere.

Honda doesn't offer it, and you have to buy the enter mirror housing. Dealership said they'd give me a deal at $190. You can go on the web and find just the glass for the older, 2001 - 2010, and the 2012 to 2016, but not the F6B. The mirror is actually a little different on the F6 than the other models. You can get the Muth mirrors with the turn signals in them for about $160.

Anyone have any ideas where I can get just the glass???
thx

If I were ready to upgrade to the Muth mirrors (with the sequential red LED's), I'd make you a deal on my leftover factory mirrors, but the Muth's are down a few farkles on my list for now.

Just thinkin' out loud.

HOW LOUD DO YOU NEED TO THINK, before you bite the bullet????

P.S. You can get the entire right side assembly at Partzilla for $146.92 here.
Best price I've found for you so far.

Or... How 'bout these, on eBay. $43.50 both sides... "New"

[They claim they'll fit the 2013 F6B... but I'm scratching my head as to why. I thought the F6B mirrors were "GL1800 mirrors, upside-down."]

Let me first say I don't know if this will work for you.

About ten years ago I whacked my F-150's side mirror with an ice scraper trying to get ice of it and it cracked in the middle. I went to a local automotive glass repair shop after an auto body repairman told me that they can just put an exact shape mirror glass over the cracked one and with the special epoxy they use it would never fall off. So I did that...cost me about $20 versus buying a mirror assembly for the door. It has never fallen off even after all these years of continued ice scraping during the winters...and you can not even tell that there is a second glass underneath it by looking however closely you can...even along the edges.

I have tried the mirrors bought from EBay ...made in China...and they look identical to the OEM mirrors. I took them back off and put the originals back on because I just could not get them tight enough to stop fluttering. The originals weren't that bad, bad one had a minor scratch on it so that's why I attempted to replace with the EBay mirrors....I can live with the very minor scratch.

I actually seen those, but if you use the "show compatible", it comes up as not working. Something doesn't jive........

thx!
