CB radio

I'll be riding my GL1800 from Pittsburgh to LA along with my buddy who has a new F6B. I'd like him to have a CB as I do. I'm farmiliar with the JMCB-2003I. Is there any other ideas how to set up his F6B with a CB?.

I'll second UncleJohns excellent suggestion.

If just for one trip, I'd highly recommend a set of FRS Radios with Headsets.

Google, eBay and Amazon.com are your friends here. I did a search for "frs radio with headsets" and came up with all sorts of selections. You should easily be able to find two with PTT Headsets for less than $100 total.

On top of which, the range may be even better with FRS Radios, than what you can get with a CB on a motorcycle.

If you listen to the Truckers on your CB, that will keep you both informed; if that's a concern.
