Kuryakyn Mini Boards

Anyone try these on your F6B ? The description says it dropa the hoards 3/4 inch but maintains street like clearance. Seems to me I'll lose clearance.

Mine is not an F6B, but it is the "same-difference", no? Anyway ...

My bike had Kury pegs when I bought it and I put the mini Boards on. The ends or the mini Boards are much thinner than the regular pegs.

Measured, IIRC, I gave up 1/4 inch ground clearance to gain that 3/4 inch of leg room. My 38 inch inseam appreciated it. Adjusted with a slight forward tilt, they helped relax my ankles a bit too. I like mine.

But ... I don't think Kury actually made my pair of mini Boards. They must have sub-contracted them out to some back-alley chrome shop. It has been 4 years and the chrome hasn't peeled off yet! Ha!

Have run them both on the Wing and the F6B and appreciate the additional legroom. I am not an overly aggressive rider and have noticed no significant scraping issues.

They look good ! I'm going to try a pair . I could use a little room under the shifter for my foot so I'm hoping these will help out.
Thanks for the pics.

It looks like Dave used the middle hole to mount his. After several adjustments, I ended up using the front hole. I actually spend a lot of leisure, cruise time with my heel hooked on the front edge and my size 14s hanging down off the front. But, I don't do good turns like that as my toes will drag! Play around with different settings. I found that even one "notch" of tilt made a big difference in feel.

I ran them on my F6B for 2 seasons.
They will drag if you corner with gusto. I had mine set as forward as possible.
I put new tires on my bike, and at the same time went back to the stock pegs.
I'll give the stock pegs a retry for a couple of weeks, then likely sell my mini boards if I'm happy with the results.

If it ain't broke, try to fix it anyways

I like the boards and when angled properly give more clearance to the shifter. I drag mine frequently. No more than the stock pegs. When they push my foot up I know that's the limit.

I love my mini boards and would not like going back to pegs. The pegs always seemed to make my feet stay in the same position. Not so with the mini boards. I like being able to "scoot my boot" around on the boards. The little bit of drop they provide is noticed and appreciated, as well. I have had both hips replaced, so anything that allows me to move around a bit helps.
