(Android 7 tablet).

often, it's not possible to select a thread.. if you tap on link it often jumps around before the screen touch gets registered so you don't get the link you aimed for

clear cache or cookies no help

imho
the random ads on top need standardization.
some are smaller and some are larger and the screen jumps around until the full ad is loaded and the size is determined

site now very difficult to use on tablet and near impossible on Android phone

Dennis
Perfect explanation Dennis.
This is exactly what is happening with me except I can not use my Android at all.

For me -

It's the ads loading!

Site opens up with the 'ad' space at the top blank, followed by the list of posts.

Ad then loads in the open space at the top of the page
and then the page goes crazy, sometimes jumping all the way to the bottom.

It does the shifting thing occasionally.

(I think there is something in the ad contents that causes a 'page down' or other strange things.)

What kind of skin option are you using?

If you can provide a screen shot that can help us test out this issue.
Thank you,

Yep. Every single page I click to does this. Its because of all the stupid ads (with large file size images). That and the auto-formatting layout of the site. Doesn't matter which browser or device you use.

There is nothing to screen shot. The screen eventually loads all the way, and displays everything just fine. The problem is within the first 5-7 seconds of loading each page. For example, I opened the "New Posts" page and saw this thread in the list. I lined my mouse up over the "2" next to the title, in an attempt to access the second page of posts. Before I could actually click, the page jumped so my screen then showed the far bottom of the list of threads! A few more seconds, and I could finally scroll back up to the top to see this thread listed, and click on it.

Same thing happened when loading this thread, and trying to reply. Each time the page loads, it displays the top section, then with each ad that loads, it jumps lower on the page, until it finally shows the very bottom of the page. Then I have to scroll back up to the top again.

How about a screenshot of the ads that may be causing this issue? Can't seem to recreate this, which makes figuring out what to report to our tech team difficult.

Ok, lets see what I can do here...

As soon as I click the link to open this page, I get the first image, followed by the second, and finally, the end result has the bottom of the page in view instead of the top. This all happens in the course of about 5-7 seconds of clicking on the link to open ANY page on this site.

It's related to the top banner ad, and the right column ads (top and bottom).

Here are screen shots of my ipad folly with adds. The motorcycle one actively moves (runs it's movie) before the page even loads completely The add in the middle of peoples text is very hard to close without a mouse on the 'pad, and opens in a new window more times than not, and that sucks/wastes my time. Oh it looks like the top Gieco add is stuck in between changes, maybe??

Thankfully, I don't get those ads that appear in the middle of someone's post! That would be REALLY annoying!
