My biggest complaint is the slowness lately. Sometimes takes 60 seconds to send a PM...yeeesh. As a forum owner who just moved to AWS, I know there are better ways.
When Vertical Scope took over this forum, the amount of ads displayed increased significantly as did the beacons/trackers, plus the links for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ Platform. IMO, that is what is slowing the pages, etc. as I don't experience "slowness" on other forums that are displaying a couple of ads and beacon/trackers per page.

This page has 26 beacons/trackers and 31 ads. You see the same thing on other forums owned by Vertical Scope.

Yeah, I use adblock origin, and ghostery....so I dont actually see any of that stuff. But I know what you're talking about. I've been considering introducing some ad revenue to my site, but it just seems like whoring out.

Now I can not retrieve my notifications.
I get a notification and click on it.
All that happens is the little spinning thing just keeps spinning and does not connect.

Doug

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Now it is really screwing up.
I can't get connected for minutes.
Then the spinning thing never quits spinning.
Dang it.
I thought all these issues were gone.

Thanks Rail32,

It seems to be working better now. All the sticky threads are gone on my computer. Which is fine with me! There were getting to be too many anyway. How about one sticky thread that leads to all the other stickies?

thanks again,

UPDATE: I guess I spoke too soon. It's screwing up again. Oh well!
